ABOUT PITCH COMPETITION

The 2nd Annual Palm Beach Tech Pitch Competition is a one-night event where early-stage startups pitch their businesses to a panel of expert judges.

Competing for a grand prize of $10K in services, companies will present to a room full of local entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders.

Of the 8 startups from last year’s competition, several have gone on to prestigious accelerators and combined to raise over $10 Million in funding!

APPLY TO PITCH YOUR COMPANY

6 companies will be chosen to make their pitch, being judged on 3 main criteria:

1) Innovation & Disruption: Is the idea original and significant?

2) Founders & Team: Is the team prepared to execute in their domain?

3) Market: Is there evidence that people want this product/service?

FAQ

What is a Pitch Competition?

Think of it like ‘Shark Tank’ without the negotiation. At the end of all the pitches, the judges will announce their 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!

What is the pitch format?

Each team will be given 5 minutes to present, using any visual aids they have prepared. This will be followed by a 3-minute Q&A with the judges.

Which businesses are eligible?

Early stage startups are preferred. Your company’s product or service could have already been launched or still in development.
